The Penn Township Constable’s Office may provide a professional on-site presence while an individual retrieves personal property from a residence, business, or other location.
Property-retrieval services are scheduled in advance and are intended to help maintain order while approved items are collected. Availability depends on the circumstances, location, documentation, safety considerations, and applicable legal authority.
Please be prepared to provide:
Your name and contact information
The property-retrieval address
Your relationship to the property or location
The other party’s name and contact information
A list of the items to be retrieved
A copy of any relevant court order or written agreement
Preferred dates and times
Information about known threats, weapons, protection orders, or other safety concerns
Do not submit Social Security numbers, financial-account numbers, or unrelated confidential information.
The constable does not determine ownership of disputed property or provide legal advice. Scheduling a standby does not authorize entry into a property, override a court order, or guarantee that any particular item may be removed.
Service may be refused, postponed, or terminated when legal authority is unclear, the parties become disorderly, conditions are unsafe, or police assistance is required.
Fees may depend on the location, anticipated duration, travel, documentation, and other circumstances. Submitting a request does not guarantee acceptance or confirm an appointment. Your request will be reviewed before service and pricing are confirmed.
Service Terms
All requests are subject to review, availability, applicable legal authority, and advance payment unless otherwise agreed. Submitting a request does not confirm an appointment or guarantee that service will be accepted. Additional time, mileage, waiting time, cancellations, or extraordinary circumstances may result in additional fees. Please review the full Terms and Conditions before requesting service.
